Für Frieden im Nahen Osten

Das Zentralkomitee der Kommunistischen Partei Luxemburgs (KPL) hat sich in seiner Sitzung am 14. Oktober 2023 zutiefst besorgt gezeigt über die Entwicklungen der internationalen Situation. Der andauernde Krieg in der Ukraine, das Aufflammen des Konflikts im Nahen Osten, die Gefahr einer zunehmenden Konfrontation gegenüber China, die neuen Entwicklungen im Bereich der Atomwaffen und die verstärkten Rüstungsanstrengungen vergrößern die Gefahr eines neuen großen Krieges.

Die KPL verurteilt die massiven Angriffe und die Tötung von Zivilpersonen in Israel und im Gazastreifen sowie im Westjordanland. Die Eskalation der Gewalt muß unverzüglich gestoppt werden.

Die Lösung des Nahostkonflikts darf nicht in einem neuen Krieg gesucht werden.

Die KPL bekräftigt ihre unerschütterliche Solidarität mit dem Volk von Palästina und den fortschrittlichen Kräften in Israel und wendet sich dagegen, das palästinensische Volk mit extremistischen Kräften gleichzusetzen, deren Aktionen als Vorwand für neue Gewalt genutzt werden.

Die KPL fordert die Luxemburger Regierung auf, sich in der UNO, in der EU und in allen internationalen Gremien für die Umsetzung aller Beschlüsse der UNO zur Rückgabe der von Israel völkerrechtswidrig besetzten Territorien, für die Aufhebung der Abriegelung des Gazastreifens und für die Schaffung eines palästinensischen Staates einzusetzen. Wir begrüßen den Vorschlag Chinas zur Einberufung einer Friedenskonferenz für den Nahen Osten und fordern die sofortige Beendigung aller militärischen Handlungen.

For peace in the Middle East

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Luxembourg (KPL), at its meeting on October 14, 2023, expressed deep concern about developments in the international situation. The ongoing war in Ukraine, the flare-up of the conflict in the Middle East, the danger of increasing confrontation with China, new developments in the field of nuclear weapons and increased efforts in the field of armament are increasing the danger of a new major war.

The KPL condemns the massive attacks and the killing of civilians in Israel and in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The escalation of violence must be stopped immediately.

The solution to the Middle East conflict must not be sought in a new war.

The KPL reaffirms its unwavering solidarity with the people of Palestine and the progressive forces in Israel, and opposes equating the Palestinian people with extremist forces whose actions are used as a pretext for new violence.

The KPL calls on the Luxembourg government to work in the UN, the EU and in all international bodies for the implementation of all UN decisions on the return of the territories occupied by Israel in violation of international law, for the lifting of the closure of the Gaza Strip and for the creation of a Palestinian state. We welcome China's proposal to convene a Middle East peace conference and call for an immediate end to all military actions.

Pour la paix au Proche-Orient

Lors de sa réunion du 14 octobre 2023, le comité central du Parti communiste luxembourgeois (KPL) s'est montré profondément préoccupé par les dévelop­pements de la situation internationale. La guerre continue en Ukraine, l'embrasement du conflit au Proche-Orient, le risque d'une confrontation croissante avec la Chine, les nouveaux développements dans le domaine des armes nucléaires et l'inten­sifica­tion des efforts d'armement augmentent le risque d'une nouvelle grande guerre.

Le KPL condamne les attaques massives et les tueries de civils en Israël et dans la bande de Gaza ainsi qu'en Cisjordanie. L'escalade de la violence doit être immédia­tement stoppée.

La solution du conflit au Proche-Orient ne doit pas être recherchée dans une nouvelle guerre.

Le KPL réaffirme sa solidarité indéfectible avec le peuple de Palestine et les forces progressistes en Israël et s'oppose à l'assimilation du peuple palestinien à des forces extrémistes dont les actions sont utilisées comme prétexte à de nouvelles violences.

Le KPL demande au gouvernement luxembourgeois de s'engager à l'ONU, dans l'Union Européenne et dans toutes les instances internationales pour la mise en œuvre de toutes les décisions de l'ONU concernant la restitution des territoires occupés par Israël en violation du droit international, pour la levée du bouclage de la bande de Gaza et pour la création d'un Etat palestinien. Nous saluons la proposition de la Chine de convoquer une conférence de paix pour le Proche-Orient et demandons l'arrêt immédiat de toute action militaire.
